Our shopper volunteers are the first stop to the magic! Each shopper is assigned a recipient family to shop for. They will be provided an information packet that contains likes and interests of each family member, as well as a budget. With that information, the shopper thoughtfully purchases gift for each member of the recipient family. All gifts are purchased by the given deadline and then dropped off for wrapping by our wrapping team. Shoppers are reimbursed for all their purchases.

Our decoration volunteer team is crucial to ensuring a festive and magical delivery for all recipient families. Decorators will be responsible for stringing all large ornaments with yarn to be hung on trees, removing all tags from garlands, ornaments and more, and dividing all decorations up evenly to be distributed to each family.  

Wrapper volunteers join us for our wrapping night event! They are responsible for checking that all gifts have been appropriately purchased for all recipient family members, then wrap and tag all gifts accurately. If you love wrapping presents and are detail-oriented, this role is for you!  

The packing team is responsible for accurately and carefully packing all wrapped gifts into a large Christmas Commandos box to be ready for delivery. Packers will complete this task for every recipient family. Attention to detail and physical strength is ideal for this role!  

Those who bring the magic to doorsteps! These individuals are responsible for stealthily delivering the Christmas Commandos box(es) of gifts and the angel statue to the doorstep of the recipient family. They are also responsible for quietly decorating the home’s front yard to look like a winter wonderland! Delivery occurs one evening during the week of Christmas.
